ATTENTION ALL ANIMAL LOVERS! RUNNERS, WALKERS, AND 4-LEGGED FRIENDS OF ALL AGES ARE INVITED TO MADISONVILLE CITY PARK FOR OUR THIRD ANNUAL _HOPKINS COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY RUN FOR THE PAWS 5K RUN/WALK AND KIDS FUN RUN. _
MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR JUNE 6TH AND JOIN US FOR A FUN-FILLED DAY OF RUNNING, WALKING, AND WAGGING TAILS!
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WILL GO DIRECTLY TO SUPPORTING THE HOPKINS COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY AND THE ANIMALS IN OUR CARE.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
The loss of our permanent shelter on Laffoon Trail was devastating for our organization and our community. While it was incredibly difficult to see the building taken down, that chapter has now closed. The site has been fully cleared, the ground prepared, and we are actively working with engineers and architects to finalize plans for rebuilding a larger, updated facility that will meet all state and local codes. This process will take time, determination, and substantial financial supportbut we are committed to seeing it through for the animals and citizens of Hopkins County.
In the meantime, our temporary shelter on Dulin Street required extensive updates to allow us to safely resume animal intakes. We are grateful to share that these updates are almost complete, and the temporary facility will be fully operational beginning in February. Even with these improvements, our need for community support has never been greater.
THIS EVENT IS MORE THAN A RACEIT IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR COMMUNITY TO COME TOGETHER IN SUPPORT OF ANIMALS WHO RELY ON US EVERY DAY. FUNDS RAISED THROUGH RUN FOR THE PAWS DIRECTLY SUPPORT MEDICAL CARE, SHELTER OPERATIONS, AND OUR LONG-TERM GOAL OF REBUILDING A PERMANENT HUMANE SOCIETY FACILITY FOR HOPKINS COUNTY.

PLEASE NOTE, IN ORDER TO BE GUARANTEED A RACE T-SHIRT YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE MAY 15TH.
ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 8AM ON FRIDAY, JUNE 5TH, BUT THERE WILL NOT BE A T-SHIRT OPTION AFTER MAY 15TH.
