Run for the Roses features a fast and flat course along closed neighborhood streets in Roselle. With a wide 30 foot starting line & free parking feet away from the start and finish line, this race is fun, fast, and convenient. Indoor and outdoor bathrooms are on site. Post-race refreshments are provided, along with a balloon artist for 2024, and as usual the 0.6k kids' race on the high school's track after the 5k.

Kids' .6k Race - 12 & Under

Kids ages 12 & under can enjoy a chip timed .6k race, which starts at 9am on the northeast side of the Lake Park West High School campus parking lot. The course brings the kids onto the 400m track for one lap before finishing on the same spot as the 5k.
