Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026, for the inspiring Run to Remember 5k Memorial Day event in Omaha, Douglas. This noncompetitive race celebrates and honors the brave individuals who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Open to everyone at no cost, participants can run, walk, or ruck the scenic course around Zorinsky Lake, starting at 8:00 AM.
Before and after the race, enjoy live performances from the talented 43rd Army Band of the Nebraska Army National Guard, adding to the festive atmosphere. The first 200 participants to pick up their packets will receive a complimentary t-shirt, while the first 100 finishers will be awarded a medal. Don’t forget to join our group on Strava, "Nebraska Army National Guard - Omaha," and follow us on Instagram @GuardRunsOmaha for the latest updates and course maps. Packet pick-up will take place on Friday, May 15, at the Nebraska Army National Guard Storefront from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Come out and be a part of this meaningful event that brings the community together to remember and celebrate our heroes!
