Join us for the vibrant and heartwarming "Run With Heart" event, taking place from March 1st to March 28th, 2026, in the picturesque town of Piggott, Clay. This special occasion culminates in a memorial run on Saturday, April 25th, celebrating the life of Debbie Baxter, a beloved community member. Runners and walkers of all levels are invited to take part in either the 5k or the one-mile race, with the 5k kicking off at 9:00 a.m. and the one-mile race starting shortly after at 9:15 a.m.
This year's race will take place at the scenic Piggott Sugar Creek Country Club, where participants will enjoy a beautiful, paved route that loops through the club's charming pathways. In addition to honoring Debbie's legacy, the event supports great causes such as the American Heart Association, Osborn Church, and the Haven House. There’s no specific dress code, but feel free to wear red, Debbie's favorite color, as a tribute to her spirit! Organiser's Description
Come out and join us for the second annual 5k/mile memorial run for Debbie Baxter on Saturday April twenty-fifth! This race is a tribute to the light that Debbie Baxter brought into this world and the love she showed for her community. This race is also being held to benefit the American Heart Association, Osborn Church, and the Haven House. Our race track has changed this year to the Piggott Sugar Creek Country Club. Participants will run the pathway of the club twice to make just under 5k. This race route is completely paved. No dress code, but Debbie's favorite color was red if you'd like to support her even more! Runners/walkers of all paces are welcome to join in on the fun! Packet pickup will be day of race. The 5k will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the 1 miler will begin at 9:15 a.m.. Please be aware that if there is inclement or severe weather the race may be postponed or canceled.
