Join us for the inaugural Run With Heart event on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the charming town of Piggott, Arkansas! This special memorial run honors the vibrant spirit of Debbie Baxter, celebrating her love for the community and her dedication to important causes. Runners and walkers of all abilities are invited to participate in a scenic 5K and a mile race, with the 5K kicking off at 9:00 AM and the mile race starting at 9:30 AM.
The race will take you through the picturesque Heritage Park and around the beautiful town, featuring a mix of paved roads and off-road trails. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants are encouraged to wear neon attire, as roads will be closed to traffic. Not only will you be engaging in a fun and fitness-filled day, but you'll also be supporting the American Heart Association and St. Jude's Children's Hospital, organizations that were close to Debbie's heart. Don’t forget to arrive early for packet pickup at 8:00 AM, and remember to run with HEART! Come out and make a difference while celebrating a wonderful life!

Organiser's Description
Come out and join us for the first annual 5k/mile memorial run for Debbie Baxter on Saturday April fifth! This race is a tribute to the light that Debbie Baxter brought into this world and the love she showed for her community. This race is also being held to benefit the American Heart Association and the St. Jude's children's hospital, both organizations that she felt passionate about. Participants will have the opportunity to run through the beautiful Heritage Park of Piggott Arkansas as well as part of the town as well. Please note that this course will include paved roads as well as off-road running. For safety reasons, please be sure to wear neon. While the roads will be closed off to traffic, we want to ensure the upmost safety of our participants. The 5k race will start at 9:00 AM and the mile race will begin at 9:30 AM rain or shine (we will implement safety precautions in the event of inclement weather). Runners/walkers of all paces are welcome to join in on the fun! Packet pickup will be day of race. Please arrive early by 8:00 to pick up your packet.

This run/walk race will take place solely at Heritage Park. Participants will loop around the track twice to reach the mile mark and finish line.
