Join us for the inaugural Run With Heart event, taking place from April 2nd to April 11th, 2025, in the charming town of Piggott, Arkansas! The highlight of this uplifting week will be the memorial 5k and mile run dedicated to the beloved Debbie Baxter on Saturday, April 5th. This special race honors Debbie's vibrant spirit and her deep commitment to the community while supporting two worthy causes: the American Heart Association and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Runners and walkers of all abilities are encouraged to participate in this joyful celebration of life. The 5k race kicks off at 2:00 p.m., followed by the mile race at 2:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy a scenic route through the beautiful Heritage Park and surrounding areas, with a completely paved path ensuring a smooth experience. For safety, we ask that everyone wear neon clothing, as roads will be closed to traffic. Don’t forget to arrive early for packet pickup starting at 1:00 p.m. Come run with heart and make lasting memories while supporting a great cause!

Organiser's Description
Come out and join us for the first annual 5k/mile memorial run for Debbie Baxter on Saturday April fifth! This race is a tribute to the light that Debbie Baxter brought into this world and the love she showed for her community. This race is also being held to benefit the American Heart Association and the St. Jude's children's hospital, both organizations that she felt passionate about. Participants will have the opportunity to run through the beautiful Heritage Park of Piggott Arkansas as well as part of the town as well. This race route is completely paved. For safety reasons, please be sure to wear neon. While the roads will be closed off to traffic, we want to ensure the upmost safety of our participants. The 5k race will start at 2:00 p.m. and the mile race will begin at 2:30 p.m.. Runners/walkers of all paces are welcome to join in on the fun! Packet pickup will be day of race. Please arrive early by 1:00 p.m. to pick up your packet.
