Get ready for a heartwarming day at the Run with Heart 5K on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in beautiful Terre Haute, Vigo! This exciting event invites participants to run or walk two laps inside Fairbanks Park, all while supporting the amazing work of Happy Tails Animal Rescue. With a mission to make a positive impact on the community, Happy Tails is raising funds for their planned expansion, which will enhance their ability to provide grooming, boarding, and dog training services.
Join fellow animal lovers for a leisurely stroll or a spirited run, starting at 9 AM, with registration opening at 8 AM at Blumberg Shelter. Participants aged 15 years and up can register for just $15, while those 14 years and under can join for only $10 (note that prices increase on race day). After crossing the finish line, treat yourself to a free post-race massage, and don’t miss out on delicious ice cream from the Scoop There It Is truck! Awards will be presented for overall and age divisions, making this a fun-filled day for everyone. Don’t forget, the cutoff for a guaranteed event t-shirt is April 2nd, so register early and be part of this wonderful community

HAPPY TAILS (https://www.happytailsanimalrescue.com/) is a local dog/cat rescue making a positive impact in our community. In addition to the ongoing expense of animal care, HAPPY TAILS is raising funds for a planned expansion. A new facility, allowing for grooming, boarding and dog training services, is in the works. Please join us for a leisurely walk/run through Fairbanks Park while supporting this great cause!!
After finishing your race, enjoy a FREE POST-RACE MASSAGE
SCOOP THERE IT IS ice cream truck will also be on site for a post-race treat (cash & cards accepted)
REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 8AM IN BLUMBERG SHELTER. RACE STARTS AT 9AM
