The festivities kick off at 4:00 PM with the Kids Race starting around 5:00 PM, followed by the Adult Race at approximately 5:30 PM. Beyond the races, the National Night Out event boasts a variety of family-friendly activities, including exciting displays from first responders, live music from a DJ, a petting zoo, and even a water shower area for the kids to cool off. Plus, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy FREE hot dogs, explore local vendors, and take home giveaways from community organizations. With special appearances from Sparty mascots and, of course, delicious donuts waiting for you at the finish line, this is more than just a race—it's a chance to create lasting memories with family and friends. Join us for a unique, family-friendly event during Williamston's National Night Out at McCormick Park!
Run With the Cops brings together local law enforcement officers, runners, walkers, families, and community members for an evening of movement, laughter, and community connection. Whether you're running your fastest, enjoying a leisurely walk, or simply showing up for the donuts, everyone is welcome.
Race Distance:
This is a sprint through the park. Each participant will run about 100-500meters. Some participants may run more
Race Schedule:
Kids Race: Starts around 5:00 PM
Adult Race: Begins shortly after (approximately 530 PM)
Come early and stay after! National Night Out runs from 400 PM and McCormick Park will be packed with fun for the whole family, including:
First responders, vehicles, and equipment to explore
Live DJ at the bandshell
Petting zoo
Water shower/splash area for kids (weather permitting)
FREE hot dogs
Vendors, giveaways, local businesses, and community organizations
Special appearances from Sparty mascots!
This is more than a race. Its a fun night to connect with the community, laugh a lot, and make memories with your family.
