Event summary
The day kicks off at 8:30 AM with registration and packet pickup, followed by a warm welcome at 9:25 AM. The 5K race starts at 9:30 AM, followed closely by the 1K at 9:35 AM. Runners will receive a race bib and a swag bag, along with a special T-shirt for those who register by April 5th. After the races, stick around for the award ceremony at 10:30 AM, where top finishers will be recognized. Organiser's Description
Aubrie Rowland is 6 year old Raritan resident attending First Grade at Milltown Primary School in Bridgewater, NJ. She was born with an ultra-rare Mitochondrial Disease, Leukoencephalopathy with Ovarian Failure (LKENP). This condition is terminal and has no cure. This run is hosted by Aubrie's mom, Ashley Rowland who is the Co-Founder of CureARS.
CureARS is a parent organization (founded by two mom's) supporting families and funding research that could lead to life-saving treatments for their children and others affected by mtARS disorders.
Dedicate your miles to local resident, Aubrie and the thousands of others affected and those who will be diagnosed worldwide in 2025.
