Get ready for the 5th annual Running on the Ridge event on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in the vibrant city of Paragould, Greene! This exciting race day promises fun for everyone, featuring a variety of race distances including a 5K, 10K, and a 1-mile dog jog/fun run. This year, participants can also take on the challenge of the newly introduced 10K ruck. The scenic courses will wind through downtown Paragould and along the beautiful 8 Mile Creek Trail, with both the start and finish located at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
Not only will runners enjoy a day filled with fitness and community spirit, but all participants will receive a FREE ticket to the Rodeo on the Ridge taking place that evening, along with a finisher prize! Don't forget to register before May 10th to guarantee your event t-shirt. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, May 30th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the fairgrounds. Join us for a fantastic day of running, camaraderie, and supporting the Henry Wrinkles Foundation! Remember to keep your dogs leashed and clean up after them while enjoying this memorable event!

Organiser's Description
The 5th annual Running on the Ridge welcomes new and returning participants! We look forward to another great race with options of a 5K, 10K, 1 mile dog jog/fun run and NEW this year will be a 10K ruck! The 5K & 10K runs and 10K ruck course routes will be through downtown Paragould & on a portion of the new 8 Mile Creek Trail with the start and finish at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The dog jog will be around the Greene County Fairgrounds. This years race will benefit the Henry Wrinkles Foundation.

Must be 18 or older for the ruck. Must bring your own ruck sack with minimum of 10 lb for women and 20 lb for men. List of checkpoints will be provided on race day. Route will be approximately 10K.
