Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the 5th annual Running on the Ridge event, taking place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Paragould, Greene. This exciting race day offers a variety of distances to choose from, including a 5K, 10K, a 1-mile dog jog/fun run, and a brand new 5K ruck course! Participants will enjoy scenic routes that wind through downtown Paragould and along the picturesque 8 Mile Creek Trail, with the start and finish located at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
This year’s event not only promises a fantastic racing experience but also supports a great cause, benefiting the Henry Wrinkles Foundation. Every participant will receive a free ticket to the Saturday night Rodeo on the Ridge, along with a finisher prize. Don't forget to register by May 10th to guarantee your event t-shirt! Packets can be picked up on Friday, May 30th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the fairgrounds. Bring your furry friends for the dog jog, and ensure all pets are leashed and cleaned up after. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, exercise, and plenty of fun

Organiser's Description
The 5th annual Running on the Ridge welcomes new and returning participants! We look forward to another great race with options of a 5K, 10K, 1 mile dog jog/fun run and NEW this year will be a 5K Rick! The 5K & 10K runs and 5K ruck course routes will be through downtown Paragould & on a portion of the new 8 Mile Creek Trail with the start and finish at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The dog jog will be around the Greene County Fairgrounds. This years race will benefit the Henry Wrinkles Foundation.

OPENS SOONMust be 18 or older for the ruck. Must bring your own ruck sack with minimum of 10 lb for women and 20 lb for men. List of checkpoints will be provided on race day. Route will be approximately 10K.
