Join us for the festive and fun-filled Santa's 5K Run/Walk at the Official NC Bigfoot Christmas Reunion on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the charming city of Salisbury, Rowan. This exciting event features a scenic 3.1-mile course that winds through the picturesque West Rowan area, making it perfect for both competitive and recreational runners. Walkers are also warmly welcomed to participate in this spirited community gathering.
Registration kicks off at 7:30 a.m. with the 5K race starting at 9:00 a.m. and the 1/2 Mile Fun Run for kids at 9:45 a.m. Participants can enjoy a light breakfast after the races, with proceeds benefiting Rowan Helping Ministries, a fantastic local organization dedicated to supporting the economically disadvantaged. Not only can you run for a good cause, but participants are encouraged to bring canned goods and used running shoes for donation. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in various age categories, and the first 150 5K participants will receive a stylish long-sleeve technical t-shirt. All proceeds go to Rowan Helping Ministries [https://rowanhelpingministries.org/] - a not-for-profit volunteer-based corporation which operates human service programs to assist the economically disadvantaged.
*Canned goods and used running shoes will be collected at the race. Donated items will be dispersed by Rowan Helping Ministries after the race.

DIRECTIONS - The Millbridge Ruritan Building is on Sloan Road, just off Highway 150 midway between Salisbury and Mooresville. Just follow the signs for Sloan Park near the Millbridge Community crossroads. Turn left on Sloan coming from Mooresville and right on Sloan coming from Salisbury. The Ruritan Building is on the right less than a half mile from Hwy. 150, and is directly across from Sloan Park.
