This year, we have two separate registration portals: one for 5K participants and one for Health Fair vendors. (RUNNERS and VENDORS)

Join the San Antonio Police Department for the 2nd Annual SAPD 5K Fun Run & Health Fair benefiting Edgewood Independent School District students, families, and teachers. Instead of a registration fee, participants support the event by donating school supplies to help local students and classrooms. The event includes a free community Health Fair featuring wellness resources, youth programs, public safety outreach, giveaways, and family-friendly activities.

For RUNNERS:

The first 500 registered participants will receive a free event T-shirt, race bib, and timing chip, and are encouraged to donate approximately $20$35 in school supplies during packet pickup. The race will be officially timed by IAAPWEB, with medals awarded to top finishers in each category. Participants registering after the first 500 spots are still welcome to participate by bringing a school supply donation of any value on event day. Non-runners and Health Fair guests are also welcome to donate school supplies during the event or drop off donations early at any San Antonio Police Department substations; however, early drop-offs do not count toward a registered runners required packet pickup donation. SAPD will deliver all collected donations to Edgewood ISD following the start of 20262027 school year.

SeaWorld San Antonio is ADA-compliant and welcomes trained service animals in accordance with venue policy. Service animals must remain leashed, under control, and housebroken at all times. Emotional support animals and non-approved animals are not permitted. SeaWorld also offers on-site kennel services for guests needing temporary pet accommodations during the event.

About the SAPD 5K Health Fair
The SAPD 5K Fun Run & Health Fair is a community-focused Back-to-School event designed to bring together families, students, educators, public safety personnel, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and local businesses in support of Edgewood ISD students and teachers.
Unlike a traditional race event, the SAPD 5K does not require a standard registration fee for participation. Instead, community members are encouraged to support local students by donating school supplies as their entry contribution. The event combines a 5K Fun Run, community health fair, school supply drive, wellness outreach event, and family resource fair into one collaborative community experience.
The Health Fair portion of the event is intended to provide meaningful engagement, education, wellness resources, and positive community interaction for attendees of all ages.
We are actively seeking vendors and organizations that support:

Youth programs
Mental health support
Public safety education
School readiness programs
Community outreach services
Nonprofit and public service organizations

Vendors who provide interactive booths, educational materials, family-friendly activities, giveaways, wellness screenings, or community resources are highly encouraged to participate.
Event Purpose
The SAPD 5K Fun Run & Health Fair is a free community event held in conjunction with the 2nd Annual SAPD Back-to-School Drive benefiting Edgewood ISD students, families, and teachers.
Approved vendors are invited at no cost to provide educational, wellness, health, fitness, safety, and community resources in a positive, family-friendly environment.

No Vendor Fee
There is no vendor fee to participate; however, vendors are strongly encouraged to support the Back-to-School Drive through school supply donations benefiting Edgewood ISD students, families, and teachers.

Participating vendors are expected to:
Maintain a positive, family-friendly environment
Provide educational, health, wellness, or community resources
Operate professionally and respectfully
Support the overall community mission of the event

Promotional giveaway items are encouraged and may include:

Small branded promotional products
All giveaway items must remain family-friendly and appropriate for a community event.

Beverage & Snack Guidance
SeaWorld Sponsorship Requirements
Due to existing venue sponsorship agreements at SeaWorld San Antonio, only Coca-Cola products may be distributed during the event.

Important Notes
Pepsi products or competing beverage brands may not be distributed onsite.
Vendors wishing to provide drinks, snacks, hydration items, or refreshments must use Coca-Cola products only unless otherwise approved by venue management.
Any food, beverage, or snack distribution remains subject to final venue approval.
