Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the SAR Wild Run, hosted by California Classic Events on Sunday, August 9th, 2026! Taking place in the stunning Shaver Lake area of Fresno County, this event is perfect for the whole family and serves as a vital fundraiser for the Fresno County Search and Rescue team. Participants will be treated to breathtaking views of meadows, forests, and cool streams as they embark on a 10K trail run that is part of the prestigious Classic Runner of the Year Series, earning participants 20 points towards their overall standings.

Starting just a quarter mile north of the intersection of Dinkey Creek Road and Fishing Club Road on the south side of Shaver Lake, the SAR Wild Run promises a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit. All participants will receive a technical event shirt, a unique medallion, and enjoy chip timing for accurate race results.
