Organiser's Description
We run this race in honor of Bo Arvin, 27yr old Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, who was loyal, funny and had a deep faith in God. Bo succumbed to sarcoma October 20, 2018. Bo was not a stranger to cancer having endured treatment for lymphoma, having relapsed in High school. However, sarcoma was a beast that could not be beat. On the day of his sarcoma diagnosis, he was told he had no options for treatment, and was given 6-9 months to live. He died 7 months after that. Throughout those seven months he had a fierce determination to not only live, never let his spirit or his humor be crushed, but encouraged his medical team to try treatments and other options, so no other person would have to hear the words, "Not treatment" or " No cure".
