Kick off the New Year with a bang at the Sea Rim Striders FREE Resolution 5K on January 1, 2025, in beautiful Beaumont, Jefferson! This exciting community event invites runners and walkers of all ages to join in a spirited 5K run/walk that’s completely free and open to the public. While there are no official timing, t-shirts, or medals, all participants will receive a wristband to wear throughout the event, adding to the fun and camaraderie.
Remember to stay safe and alert during the race, as the course is not closed to traffic. Bring your friends and family along to enjoy the festive atmosphere, and don't forget to hydrate! The festivities continue after the race with a special Members-only Brunch at Rao's Bakery starting at 10:15 am. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a refreshing walk, the Sea Rim Striders Resolution 5K is the perfect way to start your year off on the right foot!

2025 Resolution 5K Run/Walk
FREE and open to the Public 5K Run/Walk!
WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED via pre-registration signup, for EACH participant who will be on course, no matter the age.
*spectators do not need to sign a waiver*
SRS will start packing up race site at 9:45am and wait for any runners coming in to the finish at 10am
2025 Members-only Brunch at Rao's Bakery-Dowlen Rd. starts at 10:15am.
* FREE EVENT = No event shirts, no timing, no finisher medals or race bibs.
* All registrants will receive a wristband and must wear it for the duration of the event, while you are at race site.
* Free locations are not shut down for our event. Be cautious and alert for motorists, and other runners/walkers/bicyclists not involved in our event.
* Wear proper shoes and sun protection
* Adequate water stop on course! Bring handheld water if needed more than 1 stop.
* No pets at our events - service animals always welcome.
* EMS/trained persons will be on standby at all of our events. Let us know ASAP if you are not feeling well, or need basic 1st aid.
* Follow the direction of any SRS volunteer

* The use of headphones/earphones is unsafe, and Sea Rim Striders actively discourages their use. Runners need to stay alert at all times, especially on courses that are not closed down from the public.
