Join us for the Sgt. Scoulars Overdose Awareness and Recovery 5K Run on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in the beautiful town of New Milford, Western Connecticut! This inspiring event is not only a 5K walk/run that kicks off at 8:00 am, but it also serves as a celebration of recovery and community support. Participants will enjoy a scenic and flat course, with overall top male, female, and non-binary finishers receiving medals, alongside customized finisher medals for every participant.
Registration opens at 6:45 am, and while there are no race registration fees, donations to support the mission of Brian Cody's Brothers & Sisters Foundation are encouraged. The day will be filled with excitement, featuring a free raffle, hydration stations, and post-race refreshments. But that’s not all! The Recovery Festival, running from 10 am to 8 pm at the Town Green, will offer a full day of family fun with kids' games, live music, magic shows, face painting, food trucks, and a Recovering Artist Exhibit. Join us in creating awareness, breaking the stigma, and embracing the message that recovery is possible!

Brian Cody's Brothers & Sisters Foundation's mission is to eliminate any impediments blocking those seeking help on their recovery journey, to create and support outreach programs that improve the well-being of those in our community, to host events that help end the stigma, and celebrate that recovery is possible.
