One of Roanoke's most loved and luckiest races is back with the Shamrock Hill Run on Saturday, March 15, 2024, at 9:00 am!
Brought to you by Roanoke Catholic School, our 5K (AND THIS YEAR IT REALLY IS A 5K!) and 1-miler gives you a healthy, fun start to all of Roanoke's St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities.
Both races will start and end at Roanoke Catholic, and feature an all-new route [https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2555279?units=km] that winds its way through Gainsboro and Lick Run Greenway. Medals will be awarded in all mens and womens age groups, along with special prizes to the best St. Patricks Day costumes following the race at the Celtic-themed awards ceremony in Roanoke Catholics Gillespie Family Gymnasium. Participants as well as the general public are invited.
Race chip-timing provided by Run Roanoke.
Registration through February 28 at 3:00 pm: $30. Registration after: $35. Race shirts are guaranteed for all who register by March 7, though we will do our best to accommodate all registrations.
Packet pickup is Friday, March 14, 3:00-7:00 pm at Roanoke Catholic's Gillespie Family Gymnasium and starting at 8:00 am the morning of the race.
All proceeds benefit Roanoke Catholic School, which is dedicated to the education of the whole person, blending learning with faith and faith with daily life.
