Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Shawangunk Valley 5 Miler & 1-Mile Kids Run on Sunday, October 12th, 2025! This exciting event will take place at the Shawangunk Valley Fire House in Wallkill, Ulster, offering participants a beautiful rural course that showcases the stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge. Runners can look forward to a scenic 5-mile loop featuring rolling terrain, with a downhill to flat finish, perfect for both seasoned athletes and casual joggers alike. The 1-Mile Kids Run kicks off at 8:30 A.M., followed by the 5-Miler at 9:00 A.M., ensuring a morning filled with energy and community spirit.
Not only will you enjoy a great race experience, but you'll also be supporting the Shawangunk Valley Fire Company with your participation. Pre-registration is just $38.10 online or $35.00 by mail, with race day registration available for $40 from 7:30 to 8:30 A.M. All registered 5-Milers by September 22nd will receive a guaranteed T-shirt, and every participant will earn a finisher medal to commemorate their achievement
