Join us for the Shawnee Mission School District Staff 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, in Overland Park, Johnson! This exciting event is a fantastic opportunity for SMSD staff and their immediate families to come together and celebrate health and wellbeing in a fun and active way. The day kicks off with pre-race activities at 8:45 AM, followed by the main race starting at 9:00 AM. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K route along the Indian Creek Trail, with the start and finish lines located at Shawnee Mission South stadium.

This event is tailored specifically for SMSD staff and their families, with children aged 8 and up welcome to register. Kids under 8 can join the fun as long as they’re accompanied by an adult. Strollers are also welcome! After the race, stick around for family-friendly activities, healthy lifestyle vendor booths, and exciting prize giveaways.
