Get ready for an exciting day of athleticism and fun at the 13th annual Sherando Youth Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in the beautiful Stephens City, Frederick! This event promises to be a thrilling challenge for young athletes, featuring a swim, bike ride, and run tailored to various age groups. Participants aged 7-8 will tackle a 25-meter swim, 1-mile bike, and 0.5-mile run, while those aged 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15 will take on progressively longer distances.

The triathlon will be hosted in Sherando Park, with a portion of the run utilizing the Sherando High School Track, ensuring a vibrant and supportive atmosphere for all competitors. Pre-Race Day Check-In and Bike Inspection will be conveniently held on Saturday, August 1, at the Sherando Park Rotary Shelter.
