Join us on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 for the Shine a Light - 5K For Epic-Cure event organised in St Augustine, St Johns. Lace up your running shoes for a scenic 5K run through Anastasia State Park and the surrounding neighborhood. The route is filled with lush hammocks, shade, turns, and hills, showcasing the beauty of St. Johns County. Starting at the Amphitheater, runners will wind through the park, neighborhood streets, and back to the finish line. After crossing the finish line, stick around for awards and a benefit concert! Food trucks will be on-site for delicious food and beverages. Don't miss out on this opportunity to run for a good cause and enjoy a fun-filled evening in St. Augustine!
Organiser's Description
This is a 5K run through Anastasia State Park and surrounding neighborhood. The roads are covered in a hammock with lots of shade and through some of St. Johns County's most beautiful terrain. The race begins at the Amphitheater, proceeds with a run through the park with turns and hills, then through one of St. Augustines beautiful neighborhoods. The last leg of the run shoots the runners back down the main park road to the finish line at the Amphitheater. The night ends with awards and a benefit concert!
We understand this is a later start time, but we want to avoid the heat of the day and when you finish the race for a good cause, you will have lots of time to enjoy the benefit concert at the amphitheater! Food Trucks will be available for food and beverage purchases.
