This year, participants can choose to join in-person on October 24, starting at 8:30 AM at the Pavilion on the Village Green, or take part virtually throughout October. Whether you prefer to walk, jog, dance, bike, or practice yoga, the virtual option allows you to participate anytime and anywhere that inspires you.
The in-person walk features a scenic route that begins at the Village Green, continues along the beautiful Waterfront Boardwalk, and returns to the starting point. With a distance of 2-5 kilometers, it's a fantastic way to gather friends and family while raising awareness for breast cancer. Registration is $40 per person, and the first 75 registered participants will receive a commemorative Sisters at Heart T-shirt, along with a medal and lanyard. WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL EVENT?
* A Virtual Event can be _ANYTHING YOU WANT IT TO BE_ -something PHYSICAL done ANYWHERE OR ANYTIME during the month of October
* It can be done in your neighborhood, at your favorite local trail or park, at your office during quick lunch breaks, or wherever you feel safe and motivated to complete your event
* Some examples of virtual participation include jogging, running, dancing, skating, biking, paddle boarding, yoga, Tai Chi, etc.
* SHOW US YOUR PINK during your Virtual and In-person walk. Upload pictures to your social media and tag our Sisters at Heart [https://www.facebook.com/20sistersatheartsomd07/] Facebook page
WHAT IS THE IN-PERSON WALK?
* This In-Person Walk features a gathering of friends and family walking together to bring awareness to breast cancer
* The walk will begin on OCTOBER 24TH at the Pavilion on the Village Green

* Following a fitness warmup, the walk will begin on the Village Green, then proceed to the Waterfront Boardwalk, and will end back at the Village Green
* This is a 2-5k walk

Join survivors, family, friends and volunteers as they gather together at the Indian Head Village Green to start their walk along the Indian Head Waterfront Boardwalk. At the end of the walk, visit our vendors, enjoy music, and purchase tickets for Raffle Baskets for the Cause. Our Fitness Walk is supporting men and women who are affected by breast cancer. Deck out in your best pink outfit. Share your photos to your social media, our Facebook page and our Run Sign Up site! The Walk will be held RAIN OR SHINE. Please check the weather the day of the walk, as it may be chilly. So, don't forget to bring a jacket... 1st 75 registered individuals will receive a commemorative Sisters at Heart T-shirt -
