Participants can choose between two engaging races: the 1-mile Fun Run/Walk starting at 12:00 PM and the competitive 5k Run/Walk launching at 12:30 PM. With age divisions for all participants, from kids to adults, everyone has a chance to shine, with ribbons awarded to the top three in each category. Don't miss out on the chance to snag a free shirt if you register by April 1st! After the race, stick around for a social gathering at the Beachcomber to celebrate your achievement. Please help support Rutgers Wrestling with our 5k fundraiser on Super Bowl Sunday. These funds will go directly back to our club the SKWC to help with supplemental funds for Rutgers Wrestling.
DATE: 4/12 Sunday
LOCATION: Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751
CHECK-IN: 11:00am inside the Beachcomber
RACE START: 12pm (1mile fun run), 12:30 (5k run)
PARKING: Free During Winter Months
COST: $45 Dollars Until (4/1/2026), $50 after 4/1. Every registration comes with a free shirt if registered by 4/1.
DIVISIONS:
1mile Fun Run/Walk, 5k Open Run/Walk (placement based on age & M/F)
Age Divisions
The Open Run/Walk is for anyone looking to run the 5k race or walk. Placement in this division will be based on age and (M/F).
Male/Female top 3 in each division get a Ribbon.
* 10 and under
* 11 to 13 years old
* 14 to 16 years old
* 17 to 19 years old
* 20 to 29 years old
* 30 to 39 years old
* 40 to 49 years old
* 50 to 59 years old
* 60 to 69 years old
* 70 and over
The Fun Run/Walk is for younger ages or those just looking to for a shorter course. Placement in this division will be based on age.

COURSE:
_Start:_ Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace. Contestants will head south to Sawmill, Stockton Ave.
Race Start: 12pm (1mile fun run), 12:30pm (5k run)
It is a 3 loop course. You will need to go through the finish arch all 3 laps. At the end of the 3rd lap, you are finished
