Kicking off at 8:00 AM from the L'Auberge Levee Trailhead, this event is open to everyone—whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual walker. Participants will enjoy a scenic out-and-back course along the levee, complete with water stations to keep you hydrated. Every participant will receive a stylish event t-shirt and a finisher medal, with a guarantee for those who register before July 13, 2026.
Beyond the race, celebrate with us at our vendor tables featuring local businesses that support this incredible cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, dedicated to providing life-saving care for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. We'll have delicious snacks and refreshments waiting to energize you before the start and replenish you after crossing the finish line. Once you've finished the race, stick around and celebrate with us.

WHAT IS SLAKK?
SLAKK RC is a South Louisiana (predominantly female) run club that started in 2025. It is a pace inclusive club that offers a space for anyone to show up and participate, walkers and runners alike. We support each other, motivate each other and show up for each other. We typically meet once per week (at Woman's Hospital-Baton Rouge). We also participate in as many races together as possible.

The event will take place on the levee. The course will be out and back. Turnaround at the cone. There will be water stations along the course as well. It will be hot out there. Make sure to be safe and stay hydrated.
