JOIN US IN OUR EFFORTS TO BEAT CANCER!

Held in conjunction with Renville Sugar Beet Days, this event incorporates a morning centered on hope, health, and stewardship. Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative is the sole sponsor of the event underwriting the cost of the run/walk thereby ensuring all registrations fees are donated to help in the fight against cancer. Since inception in 2010, we have raised and donated $79,918! ALL REGISTRATION FEES WILL BE DONATED TO RENVILLE COUNTY WALK IN THE PARK.

_Running to a Sweet Beet_ 5K offers opportunities for all ages and abilities. It will take place rain or shine. The 5K is chip-timed.

_Running to the Sweet Beet_ schedule of events:

* 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Registration
* 7:45 a.m. Opening Ceremony
* 8:00 a.m. Race Start
* Immediately following the race - Closing Ceremony and Prizes

All participants registered before or on June 1 are guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt and early bird pricing. After June 1, registration fees increase to the following: Age 4 and Under - Free | Age 5-10 $20 | Age 11-18 $25 | Age 19+ $35 | Team of 5 or More: $25 per person. Race shirts are not guaranteed after June 1.

Online registration closes at midnight on June 3. After that time, day of registration is available starting at 6:45 a.m. at the Renville Community Center. Only cash/check will be acceptable forms of payment the day of.

    Running to the Sweet Beet is an approved Glacial Lakes Championship Running Series race. http://www.glcrsrun.com/ Race route: Course is a double loop run on the majority of city streets with a short amount on gravel. After June 1, registration fees increase to the following: Age 4 and Under: Free | Age 5-10: $20 | Age 11-18: $25 | Age 19+: $35 | Team of 5 or More: $25 per person. Online registration closes at midnight on June 3. After that time, day of registration is available starting at 6:45 a.m. at the Renville Community Center.
