The Smelter City Scamper is a locally hosted race that supports food access and community health in Anaconda. Led by the Anaconda Community Market, the Scamper welcomes runners, walkers, families, and longtime locals alike. A hometown race with lots of heart!
Whether youre lining up for the half marathon, jogging the 5K with friends, or watching kids sprint their hearts out for one block, this race is about showing up, for yourself and for your community.

Runners will enjoy some of the best views of Anaconda as they run through historic neighborhoods, Washoe Park, and along the "West Valley Loop" that features stunning views of the Pintler Mountains. It is a flat and fast half marathon made for setting PRs. -
