Welcome to Stop10: McLean, a 6.6K run/walk through one of the most charming villages along the Mother Road. Home to the beloved McLean Depot Train Shop, this stop blends smalltown warmth, railroad heritage, and Route66 nostalgia into a uniquely meaningful chapter of our statewide journey.
This series stands in solidarity with Enric Casacuberta, who is running the entire Illinois stretch of Route66 solo to honor those living with ALS. At each stop, participants join Enric for a 2.1mile shared Sidekick segment a symbolic reminder that no one travels this road alone. McLean is one of the most heartfelt meetup points, where community and courage meet at the tracks.
