Participants can look forward to a 5K run/walk and a delightful Kids Root Beer Run, featuring distances for young runners aged up to 10 years.
Join us at Sonder Brewing for a day filled with joy, where you'll enjoy German beers from seven local breweries, delicious festive food, and live music that will keep the spirit high throughout the day. Every participant will receive a free beer ticket or root beer, a unique finisher medal, and there will be awards for the top three male and female finishers, as well as prizes for the largest team and the best Oktoberfest costumes. Families are welcome, with strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes encouraged to join the fun! EVENT DETAILS
Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K run/walk and Kids Root Beer Run, hosted at Sonder Brewing [http://sonderbrewing.com/]. 7 local breweries serving German beers, festive food, kids activities, live music and all day festival! Participants receive free beer ticket or root beer, along with a finisher medal. Join us for the race and then stay for the after party.
Medals for ALL FINISHERS and awards for top 3 male/female finishers. Prizes for the largest team and best individual and team Oktoberfest costumes.
Strollers welcome along with well behaved dogs on leash.
KIDS ROOT BEER RUN
The Root Beer Run 10 yard or 50 yard fun dash. It takes place after the 5K on the course and ends over the finish line. Registered kids receive their own swag bag, root beer, sweet treat and finisher medal!
Groups will be divided by age (toddler - 10 years of age):
* 3 years and under (10 yard dash) *parents welcomed to run alongside their toddler
* 4-5 years (50 yard dash)
* 6-7 (50 yard dash)
* 8-10 years (50 yard dash)
