Join us for the exhilarating Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Mason, Warren! This festive run/walk celebrates Oktoberfest while benefiting the Greater Project, a wonderful initiative dedicated to serving children in need both locally and globally. Participants can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere filled with 7 local breweries offering delicious German beers, mouthwatering festive food, and live music throughout the day.
The event features a 5K run/walk where all finishers receive a medal and a free beer ticket or root beer. There will also be medals for the top three male and female finishers, as well as prizes for the largest team and best Oktoberfest costumes! Don’t forget the Kids Root Beer Run, offering fun 10 and 50-yard dashes for younger participants, complete with their own swag bags and finisher medals. Strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, making this an event for the whole family! Mark your calendars for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit with an unforgettable after-party!

EVENT DETAILS
Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K run/walk and Kids Root Beer Run, hosted at Sonder Brewing [http://sonderbrewing.com/]. 7 local breweries serving German beers, festive food, kids activities, live music and all day festival! Participants receive free beer ticket or root beer, along with a finisher medal. Join us for the race and then stay for the after party.
Medals for ALL FINISHERS and awards for top 3 male/female finishers. Prizes for the largest team and best individual and team Oktoberfest costumes.
Strollers welcome along with well behaved dogs on leash.
KIDS ROOT BEER RUN
The Root Beer Run 10 yard or 50 yard fun dash. It takes place after the 5K on the course and ends over the finish line. Registered kids receive their own swag bag, root beer, sweet treat and finisher medal!
Groups will be divided by age (toddler - 10 years of age):
* 4 years and under (10 yard dash) *parents welcomed to run alongside their toddler
* 5-7 years (50 yard dash)
* 8-10 years (50 yard dash)
