Get ready for an exhilarating adventure in 2026 with the Sonoma Summit Series! Kicking off on January 1st and running through December 31st, this self-paced hiking and trail running challenge takes you through the breathtaking high points of Sonoma County, with Santa Rosa as your starting point. Participants can tackle up to seven stunning peaks, each offering its own unique level of difficulty.
While this isn't a traditional race, it's a fantastic opportunity to explore the great outdoors at your own pace. You'll have the chance to document your journey by taking photos of your GPS route or snapping a selfie at each peak. Sharing your adventure with friends and family is encouraged, and as a bonus, every participant receives a raffle ticket for each summit conquered! Prizes include hiking shoes, poles, socks, and more, with the raffle taking place in January. Join the Sonoma Summit Series and embrace the challenge while enjoying the natural beauty of the Sonoma landscape!

SONOMA SUMMIT SERIES
Self-paced hiking and trail running challenge up 7 Sonoma County high points. We have listed them in order of difficulty (in our opinion). We have suggested routes and maps but you can always plan your own route.
This is not a race. take a photo of your your gps route, or a selfie as proof. This is your journey to the mountain tops or Peaks. Post your pictures and timeline of your adventure to share with friends and family and encourage them to join in.
