For those seeking an extra challenge, the 50K option allows runners to tackle both the half marathon and the Ultimate 18 back-to-back!
Starting at 8 AM, the race promises an unforgettable experience with aid stations offering hydration and nutrition along the way. The 5 mile course is on The Knobstone Trail with the turnaround at the first aid station @ mile marker 2.5.
The 1/2 Marathon course is out and back on the Knobstone Trail with the turnaround @ the summit of Round Top Knob.
The 18 mile course is an out and back on Knobstone Trail including Jackson Trailhead for a seriously challenging courseThe Ultimate 18"
New Distance Option! 50K Registration Open!
Run the Half and Ultimate 18 back to back for a 50Krazy distance
Those finishing the 50K will receive a unique finishers medal
The trail is single track and fairly rugged (rocks, roots, uneven terrain). The first 4 miles is undulating and beyond that the escarpments are steep with quite a bit of elevation up and down until you reach the summit of Round Top Knob.
Overall awards will be presented as well as bonus prizes courtesy our sponsor.
The race will start @8AM for all distances.
Aid stations will be located at mile 2.5 @ trail intersection and at mile 5.3 @ road intersection. Aid stations will have Gatorade and water plus some nutrition options to be detailed later.
We will provide food for all participants and family as well as volunteers.
