This beloved community tradition, which has been running since 1940, brings together runners and supporters to celebrate fitness and fun while raising vital funds for the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Clubs. The race offers an exciting opportunity to run the iconic parade route, starting and finishing at the Boys & Girls Club located at 230 West 6th Street. Participants will enjoy a festive atmosphere with performances by local kids and teens, making this event a true celebration of community spirit.

Runners will tackle a scenic course that takes them past the beautiful Pleasure Bay and Boston Harbor, culminating in a fun-filled day that promotes health and camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, this event is all about supporting our youth and creating lasting memories. Registration is open now, so lace up your sneakers and get ready to make a difference while enjoying the rich culture of South Boston!

REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW!

SAME GREAT CAUSE, SAME GREAT COURSE, SAME SHIRT DESIGNERS (THANKS, DROPKICK MURPHYS) !

It is all about the run, the shirt and supporting our kids!

Fingers crossed for sunny and dry, as we cannot refund for bad weather!

Our race is a fun, healthy and a meaningful community event, full of spirit and good cheer and positive energy. It is also a crucial fundraiser for Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Clubs youth development and teen programs.

* Featuring: Performances by South Boston kids & teens!
* Enjoy running the famous parade route, 2 hours before the parade steps off. Turn around point is Farragut Statue at Pleasure Bay/Boston Harbor.
* Race starts and ends at the Boys & Girls Club (230 West 6th), left on Dorchester St, down E Broadway and back to W Broadway, left on E, left on West 6th.

EVEN IF THE LAST MOVE DID NOT SUCCEED, THE INNER COMMAND SAYS MOVE AGAIN.
