Participants will navigate a scenic 3.12-mile course that winds through wooded trails, over charming bridges, and past friendly farm animals like horses, chickens, and cows.
The race kicks off at 10:15 AM sharp, and whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Enjoy the thrill of the race, complete with 2-3 water stations along the route to keep you refreshed. Plus, all participants will receive a finisher's medal, a stylish T-shirt, a goodie bag, and a token for a delicious burger or hotdog at Brock's Bistro! Don’t miss your chance to win additional prizes for the top male and female finishers. Bring your leashed dogs along for the adventure, but be aware that strollers are not recommended due to the uneven trails. Rain or shine, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

COME OUT AND ENJOY OUR SECOND ANNUAL 5K AROUND THE SCENIC PROPERTY OF SOUTHERN HERITAGE FARM ORGANIZED BY SOUTHERN FAUQUIER RURITAN CLUB!
3.12 MILES OF WOODED TRAILS, BRIDGES, HORSES, CHICKENS, AND COWS! 2-3 WATER STATIONS WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE. WE WILL HOLD THIS RACE RAIN OR SHINE! PLEASE NOTE: IF IT RAINS BEFORE OR DURING THE RACE THE TRAIL WILL BE MUDDY AND SLIPPERY, ESSENTIALLY TURNING INTO A CROSS COUNTRY/ MUD RUN.
ALL PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A FINISHERS MEDAL, T- SHIRT AND GOODIE BAG AS WELL AS A TOKEN FOR A BURGER/ HOTDOG AT "BROCK'S BISTRO"!

2-3 water stations will be provided throughout the course. All participants receive a finishers medal and goodie bag. We will have the race rain or shine! Walkers are welcome to attend as well as leashed dogs! Strollers are not recommended due to unevenness of trails. Please keep in mind this is a TRAIL run/ walk so mind your footing and expect to get a bit muddy!
