Kick off the day at 8 AM for this inspiring event aimed at benefiting Iraqi orphans and vulnerable children. Whether you choose to participate in person or join virtually from anywhere in the world, this event promises to be a heartwarming experience. Check-in begins at 7 AM, and please note that no race day registrations will be accepted.
Gather your friends and family to form a 5K team or start a fundraiser to support this noble cause. Celebrate the spirit of community and teamwork as awards will be given to the largest team and the biggest fundraiser! Participate in-person at beautiful Burke Lake Park in Fairfax, VA or join us virtually from ANYWHERE in the world. Come for the run/walk. Stay for the after-party with snacks, music, and other activities, including Special Guest Musical Performance by LAiTH Al- Attar. Check-in starts at 7am. No race day registrations.

CLOSEDLocation: The race starts and ends in Burke Lake Park (7315 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039). Parking is at Shelter C. Go straight after the gatehouse and take the first right. Go past the pavilion and volleyball courts and the parking lot is on the right. The best way to locate this event is via GPS using this latitudinal and longitudinal pin: 38.757432, -77.300404 Check ins: Arrive early - between 7:00 and 7:45 to check in and get your race shirt. No race day registrations. Live results: will be posted on Athlinks.com. Additionally, there will be a QR code at the race for you to scan to immediately view your results. Final race results with series points will be posted to our website on the Monday following your race. Awards: We award the top overall female and top overall male competitor. We also award the top overall girl (under 18) and top overall boy (under 18). Water Stations: Two water stations will be along the 5k course at approximately mile markers 0.7 & 2.4. Water stations are subject to change as deemed necessary. Restrooms: Can be located by Shelter C and by the parking lot at Shelter A. -
