Get ready for an exhilarating day of athleticism at the annual Splashland Triathlon, taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in the picturesque town of Alamosa, Colorado! This exciting event will kick off with packet pick-up on Friday, October 2, from 5-7 PM and again on race day from 7-8:15 AM at the Splashland Swimming Pool, located just a mile north on State Hwy. 17. Participants can look forward to a dynamic course featuring a 5k run (3.4 miles), a 10-mile bike ride, and a 400-yard swim, making it a perfect challenge for both individuals and teams.
Registration fees are set at $70 for individuals and $140 for teams of 2 or 3, with slight increases after August 18th. Sign up by August 17th to guarantee your Tri-Shirt on race day! Every finisher will receive a Tri-Medal, and awards will be presented to the top three in each age group, as well as overall male, female, and team categories. With 13 age groups for competition and a vibrant community atmosphere, the Splashland Triathlon is sure to be an unforgettable experience for athletes

This is a great local sprint triathlon with a dedicated group of volunteers! It was fun doing the reverse format, and despite having to deal with heavy rain and a lightning delay, the race director made it as smooth as could be. Thanks Splashland Triathlon, I will definitely be back!
