CLOSEDStarting at the St. Frances deChantal school, runners will follow a straight path through the community of Throggs Neck, with a portion on the race and turnaround in Ferry Point Park; the park portion being an idyllic path along the upper east river in the shadow of Whitestone Bridge. The first and third miles of the course offer shade as athletes pass through the tree-lined streets, while the second mile and turn-around offer breathtaking water views along a closed path. -
