Organiser's Description
Whether it is a challenging run or a fun walk (shorter route!), every step brings us closer to families in Suffolk County! Support Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro (RMHC NYM)! By registering today, you will be supporting RMHC NYMs Capital Campaign to build a new $30M Ronald McDonald House at Stony Brook Childrens [https://www.rmhcnym.org/capitalcampaign/]. This new House will keep families seeking medical treatment for their sick children near the care they need and the families they love.
90% of top childrens hospitals around the world are home to at least one RMHC core program. Each Ronald McDonald House is built and sustained with grassroots community support, which is why we are "the house that love built." This new House will be the only one in all of Suffolk County and it is much needed. Whether you are joining us for the race up the beloved Cordwood Path or walking with your family and friends, we thank you for your support!
