Fees for the 5K are only $15, 1-Mile just $10 (only for kids 8U), and all kids age 8 and under can run the untimed Chase the Cougar 400m on the St. Louis Catholic School 'Ox' Emerson Track for free!
The 2025 Tenth Anniversary Cougar Chase will be held on Saturday December 6th.

Fees for the 5K ARE ONLY $15, 1-MILE JUST $10 (only for kids 8U), and all kids age 8 and under can run the untimed Chase the Cougar 400m on the SLCS Ox Emerson Track for free!
Packet Pickup:
We will pass out race bags and shirts (shirts ordered separately of registration) the Friday before the race to SLCS families. These will be given with your child before pickup. We will also have morning-of packet pickup starting at 7:30a before the race.
Awards:
Overall Male and Female Prizes as well as Age/School Grade based prizes will be handed out this year.
What Are We Racing For?
With funds raised from previous years we were able to install a shot put & discus pad with cage, and purchased a high jump landing pad. This year we are excited to further support the development of our Cougar Athletics.

Cougar Chase 1 Mile (Only 1 Loop) Run/Walk: Kids 8 Years Old & Under

This will be just 1 loop around the campus course and will help to bridge the gap between the 400meter Chase-the-Cougar on the Track, for the 5yo to 8yo who want to gain experience and confidence in a race before doing the whole 5K. -
400meter Chase the Cougar on the Track! Kids Run 8 Years Old & Under
