Join us for the 10th Anniversary St. Louis Catholic School Cougar Chase 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Austin, Travis! This spirited event features a professionally timed 5K race and a fun-filled Kids Fun Run, perfect for participants of all ages. With registration fees as low as $15 for the 5K and just $10 for the 1-Mile run for kids aged 8 and under, it's an affordable way to get active and support your community. Plus, children under 8 can join the untimed Chase the Cougar 400m for free!
The festivities kick off at 8:00 AM, followed by Breakfast with Santa around 8:30 AM, where you can enjoy delicious pancakes after your race! Not only will you have a fantastic time, but you'll also contribute to the St. Louis Parish and School community. Awards will be presented for top finishers, ensuring everyone has a chance to shine. The 2025 Tenth Anniversary Cougar Chase will be held on Saturday December 6th.

Packet Pickup:
We will pass out race bags and shirts (shirts ordered separately of registration) the Friday before the race to SLCS families. These will be given with your child before pickup. We will also have morning-of packet pickup starting at 7:30a before the race.
Awards:
Overall Male and Female Prizes as well as Age/School Grade based prizes will be handed out this year.
What Are We Racing For?
With funds raised from previous years we were able to install a shot put & discus pad with cage, and purchased a high jump landing pad. This year we are excited to further support the development of our Cougar Athletics.

This will be just 1 loop around the campus course and will help to bridge the gap between the 400meter Chase-the-Cougar on the Track, for the 5yo to 8yo who want to gain experience and confidence in a race before doing the whole 5K. -
400 Meter Chase the Cougar on the Track! Kids Run 8 Years Old & Under

This is a FUN RUN for Kids 8 and under, and they will get to chase the SLCS Cougar Mascot! We will start around 8:30-8:45 and let participants run once around the track.
