Participants can look forward to a scenic 5K run or walk, perfect for all fitness levels, along with a fun-filled obstacle course for the kids. Your participation and support will help improve access to mental health services for those in need across Maine. Come together with friends, family, and the community to make a positive impact while enjoying a day of fitness and fun!

OUR_ STEPS FOR HOPE, STRIDES FOR MENTAL HEALTH _EVENT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BATES COLLEGE TAKES PLACE ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2026, ON THE BATES CAMPUS. THE EVENT FEATURES A 5K WALK/RUN AND KIDS OBSTACLE COURSE. ALL FUNDS RAISED THROUGH THIS EVENT WILL SUPPORT THE EXPANSION OF BEHAVIORAL (MENTAL) HEALTH PROGRAMS AT ST. MARYS. EVERY PARTICIPANT, DONOR AND SPONSOR GROW ACCESS TO SERVICES FOR PEOPLE ACROSS MAINE WHO REQUIRE HOSPITALIZATION BECAUSE OF SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS.
