Join us for the 33rd Annual Starr Spangled 5K Race & Walk on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in Oregon, Ohio! This beloved Toledo Area tradition kicks off at 8:00 AM, starting and finishing at Starr Elementary School, located at 3230 Starr Avenue. Participants will enjoy a flat and fast 5K road course that promises an exhilarating out-and-back experience, complete with a water station to keep you refreshed.
Runners of all ages will have the chance to compete for exciting awards, including gift certificates for overall male and female winners, as well as age group awards across numerous categories. Plus, every 25th finisher will snag a $25 Second Sole Gift Certificate! Be sure to register by June 18th to secure your choice of a stylish triblend t-shirt or a beach towel. Enjoy refreshments at the finish line and don't miss the early packet pick-up on July 3rd. For those looking for an extra challenge, participate in the BOOM CHALLENGE by completing both the Woodville 4th of July 5K on July 3rd and the Starr Spangled 5K on July 4th to earn a special prize. Celebrate Independence

. Overall male/female, Overall Master (40+) male/female, Overall Grand Master (50+) win Gift Certificates!!!
. Age group awards (at least 3 deep) No duplication of awards, 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 2024, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 - 74, 75 -79, 80 & older
. Every 25th finisher wins a $25 Second Sole Gift Certificate
SHIRTS REFRESHMENTS AND OTHER INFO:
. All preregistered participants by Thursday, June 18th will receive choice of a triblend t-shirt or a beach towel. Very limited # will be made available after the cutoff, First Come First Served, including through race day.
