Join us for the 31st Annual Starr Spangled 5K Race & Walk on Friday, July 4th, 2025, in Oregon, Ohio, a beloved Toledo Area tradition that celebrates Independence Day with fitness and fun! The race kicks off at 8:00 AM, starting and finishing at Starr Elementary School, located at 3230 Starr Avenue. Participants will enjoy a flat and fast 5K road course designed for all skill levels, complete with one water station along the route to keep everyone hydrated.
Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to join the festive atmosphere, with awards for overall male and female winners, as well as age group categories spanning from 9 and under to 80 and older. Every 25th finisher will receive a $25 gift certificate from Second Sole, adding to the excitement! Preregister by June 19th to secure your choice of a stylish triblend t-shirt or a beach towel, and don’t miss out on the refreshments waiting for you at the finish line. Plus, consider taking on the Boom Challenge by completing both the Starr Spangled 5K in the morning and the Woodville 4th of July 5K in the afternoon for a special prize!
