Join us for the Stars & Strides on the Fox, a vibrant celebration of America's 250th anniversary on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in beautiful Green Bay, Brown County! This exciting event invites runners, walkers, and families to participate in a spirited 4-mile run along the picturesque Fox River Trail. Dress in your best red, white, and blue to showcase your patriotic pride as you join fellow participants in this festive atmosphere.
The fun kicks off early with packet pick-up from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by the 4-mile timed run starting at 9:30 AM. Families can also enjoy a special 1/2 Mile non-timed Kids Run at 10:30 AM, encouraging our youngest patriots to join in the celebration. As the races conclude, the City of Green Bay will kick off its own Independence Day festivities, making it a perfect day for the entire family. Don’t miss your chance to win patriotic prizes for the best overall male and female finishers in the 4-mile run, as well as the best-dressed participant! The Stars & Strides on the Fox event also supports GRIT 920, a fantastic organization dedicated to promoting health

This exciting new 4th of July event downtown Green Bay invites runners, walkers, and families to come together for a patriotic 4-mile run along the scenic Fox River Trail. Show your stars, stripes, and patriotic pride! We encourage all participants to come dressed in their best red, white, and blue.
Bring the whole family along for the fun! The 4 mile timed event will be followed by a 1/2 Mile non-timed Kids Run for our youngest patriots & family members.
