Get ready to lace up your running shoes and celebrate America's 250th birthday at the Stars & Strides on the Fox event! Taking place on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in the vibrant downtown area of Green Bay, Brown, this exciting event invites runners, walkers, and families to join in a fun-filled day of patriotic spirit. Participants can enjoy a scenic 4-mile run along the beautiful Fox River Trail, where everyone is encouraged to don their best red, white, and blue attire to showcase their patriotic pride.
But the fun doesn't stop there! After the 4-mile timed race kicks off at 9:30 AM, families can also partake in a special 1/2 Mile Kids Run, designed for our youngest patriots, starting at 10:30 AM. The festivities will continue with the City of Green Bay Celebration, promising a day of community, fitness, and holiday cheer. Not only will you be celebrating the nation's birthday, but you'll also be supporting GRIT 920, an organization dedicated to promoting inclusive and adaptive fitness programs for individuals of all abilities. Join us for a memorable day of stars, stripes, and strides!

This exciting new 4th of July event downtown Green Bay invites runners, walkers, and families to come together for a patriotic 4-mile run along the scenic Fox River Trail. Show your stars, stripes, and patriotic pride! We encourage all participants to come dressed in their best red, white, and blue.
Bring the whole family along for the fun! The 4 mile timed event will be followed by a 1/2 Mile non-timed Kids Run for our youngest patriots & family members.
