Get ready to stride with purpose during Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Stop Domestic Violence Abuse 5K is a family-friendly community run/walk for men, women, and children to come together to raise awareness in the fight against domestic violence. Runners, joggers, and walkers enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause.
All proceeds benefit two non-profits: Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) and the Alma Domestic Violence Foundation (Alma DVF). PADVs mission is to end the crime of domestic violence and empower its survivors, and it provides professional and empowering support to abused women, men, and children in the City of Atlanta and Fulton and Gwinnett counties. Alma DVFs mission is to educate, empower, and celebrate survivors of domestic violence and help them achieve economic and self-sufficiency, and it provides a myriad of services to victims of domestic violence across the state of Georgia and nationally.
Stop Domestic Violence Abuse 5K is sponsored by the Fulton County District Attorneys Office in partnership with the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts and the City of Atlanta Mayors Office of Violence Reduction to raise domestic violence awareness and support survivors of domestic violence abuse.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This USATF-Certified 5K paved course within beautiful Westside Park, Atlantas newest park and largest greenspace, serves as a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
_Pets and strollers are not allowed on the course._
TIME LIMIT: 1 hour and 15 minutes Any participant on the course after the time limit is reached will be asked to vacate the course.
TIMING: The timing device for this event is RFID time by Performance Race Services.
* To receive an accurate time, please confirm that race bibs are:
. Clearly visible on the front of the torso
. Unaltered and unmodified (not folded or wrinkled)
. Pinned in all four corners
. Uncovered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)
Live results are published within a few minutes of course competition and are chip-to-chip times for crossing the timing pad.
