Get ready for a fun-filled day at the fifth annual Suwanee Beer Fest Beer Chaser 5K on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the vibrant city of Suwanee, Gwinnett! This unique 5K race combines the thrill of running with the joy of craft beer, making it a must-attend event for both competitive athletes and casual participants alike. Runners can choose between a non-stop experience or a more leisurely pace with beer stops, featuring five Refueling Stations along the scenic Suwanee Creek Greenway. Each stop will showcase a different local brewery, offering refreshing 3 oz. beer samples to keep spirits high throughout the race.
As you cross the finish line back at Suwanee Town Center Park, all participants over 21 will be rewarded with a full beer to celebrate their achievement. Don’t forget to wear your best St. Paddy's Day attire for a chance to win fabulous prizes for the best costumes, including individual and group categories as well as the coveted best running kilt! After the race, unwind with delicious food and live music at the after party hosted by StillFire Brewing, just across the street. All runners will leave with an official Beer Chaser 5K

No one runs faster than someone whos chasing BEER! The fifth annual Beer Chaser 5K, presented by the team behind the award-winning Suwanee Beer Fest, offers a thirst-quenching twist on the traditional 5K. This timed, PEACHTREE ROAD RACE QUALIFYING EVENT is fitting for anyone, whether you are a competitive runner trying to beat your personal record, or youre just looking to sip and stroll with your closest beer buddies. Just choose the ticket that best fizzes up your beer belly - either non-stop or with beer stops - and well all cheers together at the finish line!
The 5K will start at Suwanee Town Center Park and head down the scenic Suwanee Creek Greenway*, ending back at Suwanee Town Center Park.
For those who purchase a ticket with beer stops, youll be able to pause at each of the five Refueling Stations (hello, beer break!) along the course and HYDRATE WITH A 3 OZ. BEER SAMPLE. Each Refueling Station will feature a different brewery, TAKING YOUR TASTE BUDS ON A MINI-TOUR OF THE GEORGIA CRAFT BEER SCENE. For those who opt to run straight through without beer stops, don't fear that you wont have any beer - ALL runners (over 21) will get to enjoy a FULL BEER AT THE END OF THE RACE.
Prizes will be awarded at an award ceremony after the race for the best St. Paddys Day costumes, so come dressed in your most festive running gear! Awards will go to (1) the best individual costume, (2) the best group costume, and (3) the best running kilt (is that a thing? if not, we want to see you make it happen!)
Awesome vendors and sponsors like Taco Mac and Spiffy Bin will be waiting in the park to help you wind down from all of that running! Then, continue the Pre-St. Paddys Day celebration across the street at StillFire Brewing who will be hosting an after party with live music, a food truck and 25 beers on tap!
Every runner will also get to take home an OFFICIAL BEER CHASER 5K SHIRT, MEDAL AND BEER GLASS (TO BE PICKED UP AT STILLFIRE BREWING AFTER THE RACE) to brag about your well-deserved accomplishment.
