Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the 4th Annual Stop, Drop, & Run 5K and Little Firefighter Dash, taking place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in Georgetown, Scott. This exciting event, benefiting the Scott County Humane Society, invites participants of all ages to join in on the action with a scenic 5K run/walk and a spirited Little Firefighter 1/4 Mile Dash for the kids.
Not only will you enjoy a rolling course on a closed paved surface, but you'll also have the chance to meet local firefighters who will be cheering you on at the finish line. Bring along new dog and cat toys or other items from the Humane Society's wish list to help fill an ambulance with essential supplies for homeless animals. With commemorative race t-shirts, a limited edition beer can crafted just for this race, and plenty of opportunities for team competition and prizes, this event promises to be a memorable experience filled with community spirit. Don’t miss out on a post-race celebration featuring delicious food and refreshing Country Boy beer! WE ARE EXCITED TO HOLD THE 4TH ANNUAL "STOP, DROP, & RUN 5K" - THIS YEAR BENEFITTING SCOTT COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY. SCOTT COUNTY FIREFIGHTERS WILL BE THERE TO HIGH FIVE YOU AT THE FINISH AND SHOW YOU AND THE FAMILY SOME OF OUR TRUCKS. IN ADDITION COUNTRY BOY BREWING GEORGETOWN TAPHOUSE WILL BE PARTNERS TO MAKE THIS A FUN AND SUCCESSFUL EVENT FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
