Strasburg Mayfest 5K Benefiting the Alyssa Bane Owens Memorial Scholarship
The Strasburg Mayfest Committee, in collaboration with the Town of Strasburg, is proud to host this years Mayfest 5K in honor of Alyssa Bane Owens, a Strasburg High School graduate and beloved special education teacher at her alma mater.
Alyssa dedicated her career to helping students feel confident, capable, and successful in all they did. To continue her legacy of encouragement and support, proceeds from this years 5K will benefit the Alyssa Bane Owens Memorial Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to graduating Strasburg High School seniors with disabilities.
By participating in or contributing to this event, you are helping us celebrate Alyssas impact on the Strasburg community and ensuring her passion for education and her students' lives.

There will not be extra shirts available on race day.
Shenandoah Valley Runners (SVR) Members receive a $1 discount.

PRIZES
Age group awards. Door prizes from local businesses.
The awards ceremony will immediately follow the completion of the 5K.
