Get ready for a spectacular evening of fun and fitness at the Streetlight 5K & Frolic, taking place on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, in the vibrant Downtown Concord, Cabarrus! This exciting event invites participants of all ages to enjoy a thrilling night filled with activities, including a 5K race that kicks off at 7:30 PM. The race route will take runners down Union Street South, around R Brown Elementary School, and back to the lively finish line in Downtown. For those looking for a shorter challenge, a Fun Run (1 Mile) will begin at 7 PM, providing a perfect opportunity for families and kids to join in the fun.
But that's not all! The Frolic will run from 6 PM to 9:30 PM, featuring a Kid Zone packed with inflatables, a balloon artist, and even LED seesaws, as well as a giant LED screen for karaoke entertainment. Participants can also look forward to unique race shirt options this year, with a women's racerback tank top or men's sleeveless shirt available to those who register before the deadline. Join us for an awesome event with activities for all ages. The Streetlight 5k & Frolic will be on Saturday, July 11th in Downtown Concord. The Road Race route is down Union Street South to Oakland Ave, around R Brown Elementary School, right on Union, back to the finish in Downtown.
The Frolic and Kid Zone is free with inflatables, ballon artist, LED Seesaws, and a Jumbo LED Screen with Karaoke.
