The 5K race will kick off at 7:30 PM, taking runners on a scenic route down Union Street South, around R Brown Elementary School, and back to the lively downtown area.
This year, participants can choose a stylish women's racerback tank top or a men's sleeveless shirt as an optional race shirt, making your run as comfortable as it is enjoyable! Plus, don't miss the Frolic, running from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, where you'll be able to explore the Downtown Concord Social District, supporting local businesses and enjoying refreshing beverages along the way.
As a highlight of the event, Speed for Need will be there to help riders with special needs complete the race in customized racing wheelchairs, promoting awareness and inclusion in the running community. With awards for the top finishers across various age groups and new divisions introduced this year, the Streetlight 5K & Frolic promises to be a memorable

Join us for an awesome event with activities for all ages. The Streetlight 5k & Frolic will be on Saturday, July 11th in Downtown Concord. The Road Race route is down Union Street South to Oakland Ave, around R Brown Elementary School, right on Union, back to the finish in Downtown.
NEW THIS YEAR: WOMEN'S RACERBACK TANK TOP OR MEN'S SLEEVELESS SHIRT IS AN OPTIONAL RACE SHIRT! PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE SHIRT DEADLINE TO RECEIVE THE ADDITIONAL SHIRT OPTIONS.

Speed for Need provides the wheelchair and the runner. If you would like to reserve a racing wheelchair, please contact Zack Roehrs at roehrsz@concordnc.gov.
Awards will given to the overall top three male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. NEW FOR 2026: FIRST OVERALL MALE AND FEMALE MASTERS DIVISION (40+), GRAND MASTERS DIVISION (50+), SENIOR GRAND MASTERS (60+)
