On Saturday, runners can kick off the festivities with the 5K, starting and finishing at Gardiner County Park. The following day, participants in the Half and Full Marathon will embark on a breathtaking journey that includes crossing the iconic Robert Moses Causeway, culminating at Gardiner Park along Montauk Highway. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity for runners of all levels to challenge themselves, but the Suffolk County Marathon also proudly supports local veterans, having raised over $1,000,000 to date for veterans' services. The 12th Annual Suffolk County Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Sunday, October 18th, and the 5K will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2026.
Sunday's races will start in the Village of Babylon and Finisher in Gardiner Park, located at Montauk Hwy W, Bay Shore, NY 11706. Athletes running the Half & Full Marathon will run one of the most scenic courses on Long Island, as they cross the Robert Moses Causeway. Saturdays races will start and finish at Gardiner County Park.
Each year, the Marathon raises money to benefit veterans and to date, the Suffolk County Marathon has raised over $1,000,000 for local veterans services.

OPENS 15 DECYour Mission is to RUN/Walk/Swim or BIKE as many miles as you can from October 1st until October 31st to support our Veterans. The miles that count can be either outdoor or indoor on a treadmill. Ellipticals do not count. You can log your miles daily, you can even run 2 or 3 times a day and log your miles. Good luck! What is included in the Virtual Registration? *Participant Shirt *Finisher Medal *Bib Race packets containing the items above will be mailed out between November 6 and November 13, 2021. The cost of shipping is included in the registration fee. Virtual Race Rules: 1. Complete your distance on a pre-measured route, with a tracking device, or indoors on a treadmill.
