Get ready for an exhilarating day of athleticism and breathtaking scenery at the Sullivan Lake Triathlon 2025! Set to take place on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, in the picturesque Metaline Falls, Pend Oreille, this sprint triathlon is an exciting opportunity for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. Participants will kick off the event with a refreshing 1/3 mile swim in the stunning Sullivan Lake, starting at the Noisy Creek Campground boat launch.
Following the swim, athletes will embark on a scenic 12-mile bike ride along Sullivan Lake Road, where they can soak in the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding landscape, with a turnaround point at the charming Mill Pond Campground. The adventure culminates with a spirited 5k run along Sullivan Lake Road, leading to the Harvey Creek Bridge before returning to the Noisy Creek Campground for the grand finish. Every participant will receive a t-shirt, swim cap, racing bib, and, most importantly, a well-deserved finishers medal! Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community in the stunning Colville National Forest!

Organiser's Description
A sprint triathlon located in the beautiful Sullivan Lake Recreational Area of the Colville National Forest near Ione, Washington. You will swim 1/3 mile in Sullivan Lake, starting at the Noisy Creek Campground boat launch. You will complete a 12 mile bike on the Sullivan Lake Road, where you will have beautiful views of the lake to inspire your ride. The Bike turn around is at the Mill Pond Campground, returning to Noisy Creek Campground. Finish with a 5k run on Sullivan Lake Road to the Harvey Creek Bridge, return to Noisy Creek Campground for the finish.
All participants will receive a t-shirt, swim cap, racing bib. _ALL THOSE WHO FINISH THE SULLIVAN LAKE TRIATHLON WILL RECEIVE A FINISHERS MEDAL_.
Sullivan Lake Triathlon is under a Special Use Permit from the Colville National Forest.

Youth Super Sprint

Sullivan Lake Triathlon, Youth Category is a super sprint length triathlon for youth ages 10 - 17 years. All youth participating will need to be supervised by their parents for each leg of the Sullivan Lake Triathlon. Youth category will start as a separate wave from the adults. The distances are for the super sprint will be: Swim - 500m, Bike - 10km, Run/Walk - 3km. Transition will take place in the same area as the adults, parent supervision is required while youth are in the transition area. Sullivan Lake Road will not be closed to traffic during the race.
