Registration opens on June 2 and remains available until July 27, allowing you to secure your spot and start logging those miles at 5 am on June 16. Participants will receive a trendy Summertime Duathlon T-shirt and recognition from the YMCA upon completion, with the first finisher taking home a special prize basket! Organiser's Description
The Summertime Duathlon consists of a 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run/walk, AND youll have the EIGHT weeks of summer to complete the mileage.
A half-distance challenge is available!
The duathlon is open to YMCA members and non-members of any fitness level. (11 to 13 year old MUST be accompanied by an adult and have completed a Wellness 101 to use the Fitness Center)
REGISTRATION: Registration will open June 2nd and remain open until July 27th. You can start logging miles at 5 am on June 16, 2024, on runsignup.com.
All participants will receive a Summertime Duathlon! T-Shirt and YMCA recognition upon completion. The first finisher will receive a prize basket!
EVENT Rules:
1. Register at the Runsignup.com
2. Must complete the challenge within the allotted 56 days from June 16- August 10.
3. Distances are to be self-updated on your runsignup.com account.
4. Participants 11-13 years old must complete a Wellness 101 appointment with a personal trainer prior to using J.A. Walters Family YMCAs wellness area.
5. All distances recorded are on the honor system...dont cheat yourself!
6. Indoor and Outdoor activities count towards your total.
