Participants can run at their own pace, but must be prepared to start the next loop promptly as the clock ticks down. Whether you’re a seasoned ultra-runner or a passionate newcomer, you'll experience the excitement of pushing your limits while enjoying the stunning natural surroundings. After 11 hours of racing, those still standing will compete in the final hour to earn the coveted Summit Survivor title. JOIN US AT KISSING BRIDGE FOR A 12 HOUR BACKYARD ULTRA FORMAT WITH A TWIST.
RUNNERS WILL RUN A 3 MILE HILLY TRAIL LOOPED COURSE EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR.
TAKE AS LONG AS YOU NEED, BUT BE READY TO START YOUR NEXT LOOP AT THE START OF THE NEXT HOUR ON THE RACE CLOCK.
FOR EXAMPLE, IF IT TAKES YOU 50 MINUTES TO RUN YOUR LOOP, YOU GET A 10 MINUTE BREAK TO FUEL AND REST BEFORE YOU START YOUR NEXT LOOP.
THIS HOURLY FORMAT WILL CONTINUE FOR 11 HOURS. RACE AS LONG AS YOU CHOOSE OR UNTIL YOU ARE TIMED OUT FOR THE NEXT HOURLY LOOP.
THOSE RUNNERS STILL STANDING AFTER 11 HOURS WILL RACE THE 12TH HOUR TO DETERMINE THE SUMMIT SURVIVOR WINNING TITLE.
