Organiser's Description
On Thursday, April 9th, at 6:00 PM, the UWP Health and Human Performance Department will be teaming up with Hamann's Helping Hands to host a 5k sunset run/walk at Memorial Park on the UW-Platteville campus. Proceeds raised at this event will go to Hamann's Helping Hands Charity, which is working to raise funds and provide gifts for children in the hospital. This is a great opportunity to help raise money for kids in need while enjoying the spring weather and promoting physical wellness. The course trail begins at Memorial Park and continues onto a slightly wooded, gravel path which runs adjacent to the Rountree Branch creek. We encourage all walks of life to participate in our Sunset Stroll. We look forward to seeing you race and encourage you to consider donating to a very good cause that Hamann's Helping Hands Charity is contributing to.
