The Annual Sunshine Camp Trail Mix is a 5K trail race that supports children and young adults with disabilities who take advantage of Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp, a fully accessible summer camp in Rush, N.Y. This fun-filled event will provide an exclusive opportunity to see some of the 157 acres of this private camp through a mix of paved sidewalks and natural dirt trails. Participants will receive with registration a t-shirt, entrance into the Beer Fest and YOUR FIRST DRINK IS ON US and eligible to win prizes in their race division.**
** In interest of preserving the integrity of our trail the 5K will be limited to 300 participants.
Sunshine Camp is the only local camp of its kind that gives children with special needs unique overnight camping experiences. Please join us for this 6th annual event and help kids with disabilities just be kids while at summer camp, without any barriers to fun.
